Alpha BiteCon Badge!
I’ve been so excited to post this for a month now!

The amazing ladies of BiteCon contacted me about drawing the convention’s Alpha level badges for them and It was such a pleasure to work on this for them!

I have prints available this weekend at the con and when I get back I’ll also have it available on my society 6 account. I really hope everyone likes it, I’m really thrilled with the outcome. :D

Reblogging for the post-con crew. This is one of the posters Jeff Davis bought from me at the con. :’)  The other was my poster of Derek, Isaac, Boyd and Erica. (for the writers room!!!???!!!)

HE INSISTED ON PAYING ME, both Kendra and I tried to just give him the prints but he wouldn’t hear of it.  He was incredibly kind and enthusiastic!

Apparently he specifically requested to meet me and when I do finally get around to doing a Bitecon rundown I’ll talk about that. I still can’t believe it happened.

Just wanted to throw a huge round of gratitude to the amazing organizers of BiteCon and the people at Not Another Teen Wolf Podcast, because I had such an amazing weekend. You could really tell how much love and effort this fan-created event took, and all the activities and panels were extremely well organized, staff and volunteers were so incredibly helpful.

The cast, writers, special effects crew, National Wildlife Foundation folks, all the guests of honor went out of their way to thank the wonderful people who put this event together, and they were all extremely impressed not only with the convention itself, but by the passion of the fans, the talent of the the artwork produced. Not just fanart, but fanfiction itself. Personally it was a huge deal to me that the writers acknowledged fanfiction as a great creative output in their panel, and especially Eaddy Mays running an entire panel dedicated to fanfiction (that exceeded the allotted time limit) that basically was an ode to fandom and her love of fanfiction.

The panels that I attended were extremely fun, entertaining (and at times tearjerking, thanks for all the Victoria Argent headcanons, Eaddy) and informative, and it was great to see the cast members interact with fans and each other.

My copy of “A Stilinski Story”: The BiteCon ladies were kind enough to let me present the book to Linden Ashby on stage. It was really overwhelming for me and I had to write down what I was going to say beforehand ‘cause I was really nervous. It was hard for me to look Linden in the eye, and when I did, he looked like he was going to cry (which made me start tearing up). He gave me a hug on stage, and I completely lost my train of thought. But I did talk about my co-author werefoxstiles and how she was a huge fan of his but couldn’t be here. I also told him this book highlighted the father-son relationship between Stiles and the Sheriff. I asked him if he would be able to give Dylan the other one and he said, “I will absolutely make sure he gets it.” Linden is such an amazing man. He even tweeted about the book today (even though he thought Amanda was the one who was at BiteCon :P)!

Jeff Davis somehow knows about “Nice Day for Derek”. Which means one of two things: Tyler Hoechlin brought it to set or someone else pointed it out to him. He said it was really great and asked, “Wow, how did you do this?” It was fantastic.

Also, during Tyler Posey’s autograph session, Seana and Matty looked through “A Stilinski Story” and were pointing out cute things to Tyler Posey (he cracked up laughing at the Star Wars scene). On the Mother’s Day scene, Seana said, “Aww, that’s so sad but cute.” As I went up to Posey, he said, “Wow, this is so cool. Who made this?” So I told him that I was the illustrator. He looked up at me and was like, “YOU DID THIS??” Matty also looked up during this time and asked, “Are you tifferini?!” We exchanged pleasantries and how great it was to meet each other in person. He said he wants to buy these books and keep them in his office. And he ended our conversation with, “I look forward to working with you on Season 4!”

Haley Webb signed, “Thank you for Loki” because I told her I was the creator of the Loki manip. And she gave me a big hug and said it was her favourite thing ever. Felisha Terrell was next to her and was like, “That’s so cool. It was amazing!”

Bite Con!!!!!

I will be posting an actual Bite Con roundup later, but I wanted to crawl online and express what a fucking wonderful con it was. I didn’t know what to expect going into it, but I was absolutely blown away by the organizers, the NATWP girls, the attendees, and the lovely people from the Teen Wolf team themselves.

It’s hard to fully get across how deeply fun and entrenched in good vibes the whole weekend was. People were respectful, thoughtful, and so incredibly generous with their time and abilities. I honestly feel honored to have been a part of it.

Super duper shout out to Kreugan, Pixie, Roar, Mary, Kyle, Jackie, and everyone else who I got to meet and fall head over heels for this weekend. You are all rockstars.

And of course, to Daunt, the wind beneath my wings, without whom I would have been and would continue to be completely lost.

Seriously. Thank you everyone who was there. (Pictures and more to come) <33333
