Looking back, what are your favorite memories of playing the character?
Crystal Reed: There’s this one really great scene that I had with Tyler; it was during season 2 and it was this forgettable, tiny, couple of minutes scene in an ice rink. It’s just a simple scene, but it’s so honest. I remember that day in particular being really connected to Tyler. It’s just my quintessential Scott and Allison scene. [x]

fave summer drink 2k14: lavender fang


steep overnight (8-10 hours) in refrigerator in sealed container. strain. makes ~15 oz tea.


  • 1 c white sugar
  • 1 c water
  • 1 tsp lavender buds (dried or fresh)

bring to boil in saucepan, then simmer for 10 minutes while stirring. strain.


  • 15 oz cold-brewed tea
  • 1/2 oz lavender syrup (adjust to taste)

this cold-brewed iced tea is super delicious in the morning or on a sunny afternoon! the syrup recipe makes enough for many cups. you can also make lavender lemonade, lavender soda, or lavender hot chocolate on a chilly night…

This is so incredibly cool I can’t wait to try this!


Tyler Posey of “Teen Wolf” fame will be hosting Fox’s “Teen Choice 2014,” the network announced Sunday.

The awards show will air Sunday, Aug. 10 at 8 ET/PT. Fox also announced that Magic!, the Canadian reggae fusion band responsible for hit “Rude,” and English boy band Rixton will perform, joining the previously-announced Jason Derulo.

Posey stars as Scott McCall on MTV’s “Teen Wolf,” currently in its fourth season. At last year’s show, he won the award for choice male summer TV star, while the series nabbed the award for choice summer TV show. McCall will star next in comedy “Taco Shop,” set to premiere next year.

Previously announced star appearances include Jake T. Austin, Cody Simpson, Big Show, Gregg Sulkin, Hailee Steinfeld, Zendaya, Bella Thorne and “Pretty Little Liars” stars Keegan Allen, Tyler Blackburn, Lucy Hale and Ian Harding.

The Teen Choice Awards determines winners by votes, taken from those aged 13-19. Bob Bain and Michael Burg exec produce the fan-voted show. Producers are Paul Flattery and Kelly Brock, with Greg Sills as supervising producer.
